As well as followers, you can buy likes and buy views. This not only shows your videos to a wider audience, but also gives you a higher chance of making it on to users' FYPs. Since TikTok will view your video as being popular, the algorithm will preference it.
What is the Creator Fund?
The Creator Fund, which is only available in some countries, pays content creators for getting views on their videos. The more views a video gets, the more money creators make from the Creator Fund. You can only join the Creator Fund when you get to 10,000 followers, but you can buy followers to help you reach that goal.
For many content creators, the Creator Fund forms a significant chunk of their income from TikTok.
How can I record videos for TikTok?
You don't need to be an expert videographer or have a fancy camera to record clips for TikTok - you can simply use your phone. You can either upload a pre-recorded video into the TikTok app or record directly in TikTok.
How does TikTok's algorithm work?

While it\s not everything, the time you post on TikTok does matter. The best times to post on TikTok are midweek and before or after the working/school day. Bear in mind that everyone is watching TikTok from various time zones, so consider what those times are for your target audience. For example, if you're based in the UK but the bulk of your followers live in the US, you should post in the US evening time. Is TikTok only for young people?
There's a misconception that TikTok is exclusively used by Gen-Z, but this isn't true. While the TikTok demographic does skew younger than other social media apps like Facebook, TikTok is used by a wide range of demographics, with people of all age uploading to and watching videos on the video-sharing app.
That being said, if you're a business or content creator hoping to appeal to Gen Z and Millennials, TikTok is the best place to do it.
Do I need a business account or personal account on TikTok?
When you sign up for TikTok there are two different types of account to choose from - business or personal. Business accounts are for brands, and personal accounts are for individuals. Even if you plan on becoming a content creator and making money from TikTok, you'll still need a personal account unless you're a brand. Both accounts share mostly the same features, but personal accounts can access the Creator Fund. Business accounts can't. Business accounts also have access to downloadable analytics - personal accounts don't.
What is the difference between TikTok and Reels?
Reels is Instagram's answer to TikTok and the two are similar. The main difference is that Instagram was primarily conceived as a photo sharing app whereas TikTok is primarily for videos. Instagram is also used more to follow friends and family, while TikTok users tend to keep up with content creators. TikTok also tends to be more current, with videos from TikTok often going viral on Reels months after TikTok users first saw them.
